Chinoiserie Red Lacquer Storage Cabinet
SOLD!
Design Plus Gallery presents an Antique Chinoiserie Red Lacquer Storage Cabinet. This distinctive wood cabinet showcases a vivid red lacquered exterior decorated with detailed bamboo foliage, phoenix birds, floral accents, and scrolling botanical motifs in tones of green, gold, and brown. Raised rectangular panels organize the painted composition across the front, while architectural molding along the upper edge adds definition to the traditional form. The sides and back retain deep brown wood tones, creating contrast with the ornate front decoration. Age-related patina, surface variations, and scattered edge wear contribute to its antique character and individual appearance. It is in good condition with visible and minimal wear from usage.
