Design Plus Gallery presents an Art Nouveau Marble Top Sideboard/Cabinet by Louis-Jean-Sylvestre Majorelle (1859-1926). This antique sideboard is made of solid wood with decorative book matched veneer panels, carved foliage detailing, and a marble top with cream, rust, red, and gray veining. The arched gallery back includes three paneled sections with carved floral ornamentation along the upper crest. The cabinet has open curved side shelves, a central drawer with brass hardware, and a lower cabinet door that opens to interior shelving. The front panel displays geometric veneer work, while the rounded base and molded trim add Art Nouveau character throughout the piece. It is in good condition; visible and minimal wear from usage.
