Design Plus Gallery presents a French Berthillon Butcher Block Kitchen Island by Williams-Sonoma. Styled after iceboxes found in French butcher shops of the early 20th century, it has been crafted the strength and practicality for a modern kitchen. The two-sided island is hand crafted from solid acacia providing three small drawers and two roomy cabinets on each side, each with a fixed shelf. Fitted with corner braces, bin pulls, strap hinges, and icebox latches plated with polished chrome for a vintage feel. The cabinets can open from both sides. Three roomy drawers featuring half-circle handle pulls center each side. The top has endgrain butcher block inserts that are 2.75 inches thick. Minor sun fading. Minor wear consistent with use; island is in good condition.
