The bold architectural pediment centered by a large scallop shell, supported by scrolling foliage; the rectangular mirror plate set below a tablet-form cresting with a classical female mask and enclosed by a rope-carved surround with outset corners; the molded sides terminating in scrolls and hung with foliate swags; the apron with vitruvian scrolls. Is in good condition for its antique age + use. Visible patina on mirror.
