Van Thiel & Co for Restoration Hardware Maxim Double-Door Sideboard. Original Price: $2,800

Design Plus Gallery presents the Maxim Double-Door Sideboard by Van Thiel & Co for Restoration Hardware. Inspired by 1940s French cabinetry, the Maxim collection combines strong architectural lines and finely detailed metalwork. The cabinet is constructed in wood and wrapped in quarter-sawn paldao veneer, displaying linear grain throughout the top, sides, frame, and double doors. Polished nickel-tone metal trim outlines each door and continues vertically through the center, where sculptural rectangular hardware creates a distinctive geometric detail. The two doors open to reveal a spacious interior fitted with a full-width shelf for organized storage. Squared legs raise the cabinet slightly from the floor and are accented by coordinating metal caps. This is a discontinued model; it is in good condition with visible and minimal wear from usage.
