South Cone Trading Wine Bar Secretary Cabinet
Design Plus Gallery presents a South Cone Trading Wine Bar Secretary Cabinet. Made in Peru with sustainable practices and wood. The finishing and patina of the wood looks that of an antique. Trestle base, neoclassical columns, and French Provincial moldings complete the look. Above the pair of dovetail drawers a generous drop down secretary opens to reveal serving space and racks for storing wine bottles. Wine rack can easily be removed. Visible wear through out, good condition.
“South Cone is one of the leading manufacturers of fine furniture. Founded in 1991 in Peru, South Cone quickly became Peru’s largest furniture manufacturer. The company grew from selling small handcrafted mirrors to creating and selling its own line of eco-friendly certified wood furniture products. South Cone uses the finest materials available and utilizes expert craftsmanship to create its eclectic collections, which include contemporary, traditional, and Spanish furniture. In 2001, South Cone invested resources and time to obtain FSC certification for its factory in Peru and its distribution center in the U.S. It’s now a world leader in sustainable furniture and wood-management practices. South Cone is one of only three companies in the world to have a silver exemplary status from the prestigious Sustainable Furniture Council. The company has also made a commitment to social responsibility. The entire labor force in Peru receives daily meals while at work and is fully supported by comprehensive health and pension benefits.”
