Design Plus Gallery presets a Mid 20th Century Auguste Monreau Spelter Table Lamp. Auguste Monreau (1834-1917) was the brother of Hippolyte François Moreau (1832-1927) Famous Sculptor brothers born in Paris. Sons of Jean-Baptiste Moreau, a sculptor, who also worked as a painter and draughtsman. A lost art that was later found, the Collection Francaise was then created after the missing original molds in France were found. Visible and minor wear with age. Signed “Auguste Monreau” and marked ‘”Collection Francaise”. Consist of a single lightbulb.
