This is a unique example of the 1790s Chinese Cabinet with a rustic dark lacquer finish. There are traditional Chinese brass fittings with jumbos and other decorative detail, believe to be constructed from Elm, stunning color & patina throughout. Better in person. Had been used by a Chinese Scholar. Comprised of a paneled front with two cupboards and three lower equal sized drawers. Visible and minor damage to the upper right side go cabinet.
