The ornate composition presents a pair of cherubic figures climbing among sculpted foliage and dimensional blossoms, accented by hand-painted shades of green, blue, yellow, pink, and red with gilt detailing throughout. The upper portion supports an openwork porcelain basket formed in an interlaced lattice pattern with a twisted rim. At the center of the basket is a circular porcelain medallion decorated with hand-painted floral branches. The sculptural base incorporates scrolling forms, applied roses, leaves, and additional floral ornamentation surrounding the figures. Delicate modeling and extensive hand-applied decoration give the piece the character associated with traditional European Rococo porcelain. It is in good condition with visible and minimal wear from usage.
