Design Plus Gallery presents a Restoration Hardware Monterey Open Media Stand. Designer Thomas Bina was inspired by traveling the world. Console is made of reclaimed peroba rosa, a dense hardwood native to Brazil. Made from salvaged architectural material, texture and depth of the grain has a feeling that can’t be re-created. Large geometric silhouette gives a modern edge to the unit. Simple form sits atop a metal base with a large opening in the middle for components. Design has been discontinued from Restoration Hardware, but the collection is still current. Little evidence of wear, made in Vietnam.
