Design Plus Gallery presents a Late 20th Century Pennsylvania House Queen Anne Style Seven Drawer Highboy. Large scale of this presence making dresser can anchor a large wall with plenty of storage opportunity. Shallow dovetail drawers aligns the top with more generous depths bellow. Oiled brass hardware gives a Queen Anne style flair with the mahogany stained wood surfaces. Visible wear through out, dresser is in good condition. Constructed of a solid maple frame.
“Pennsylvania House was originally founded in Lewisburg Pennsylvania in 1887. Early Pennsylvania House took advantage of the dense surrounding forests. Nearly 90% of all their wood came from 100 miles of their workshop. Lewisburg is known as a “Cherry Capital of the World. The company later went on to produce pine and maple goods. ”
