This iconic ceiling light is defined by its sculptural composition and radiant optical effect. An acid-etched blown glass internal diffuser is encircled by an external diffuser composed of interlocking polycarbonate arches, each secured to a chromed metal mount and adorned with PMMA spheres. The concentric arrangement creates a dimensional halo that amplifies and refracts illumination through layers of transparent globes. The prismatic rings intensify the glow from within, highlighting the fixture’s architectural structure and jewel-like presence. The interplay between solid structure and airy transparency results in a dynamic visual rhythm that shifts with perspective. Celebrated for its innovative construction and enduring modern appeal, the Caboche Collection remains a hallmark of early 21st century lighting design.
