Design Plus Gallery presents an Easy Chair by Warren Planner for Knoll. In 1966 the Platner Collection captured the “decorative, gentle, and graceful” shapes that were beginning to infiltrate the modern vocabulary. This Platner lounger is the perfect example, created by welding hundreds of curved, nickel-plated steel rods to a circular frames, simultaneously serving as structure and ornament. Upholstered in textured gray/black/white fabric, loose seat cushion, over excellent cushioning for comfort. Little evidence of wear; condition is good for age and use.
