Design Plus Gallery presents a Neoclassic China Cabinet with Pediment, Circa 1810 from Kindel Furniture. Plenty of good looking details in this showman’s cabinet to fill with your collectibles and objects of achievements. The cabinet glass doors have a latticed fretwork that bends with superb craftsmanship. The cornice has a pediment style top, with a beautifully cast solid brass mount in the center. A frieze of medallions runs from side to side under this, creating a strong architectural impression. Four doors, with beautifully grained mahogany panels over two raised diamond shapes, which have dramatic flame veneers and are edged in gilt. Each door hides pull out drawers and open cavity space. The interior atop is flexible and useful. Adjustable shelves over two wide drawers create a substantial amount of storage. The lower portion has The cabinet does show signs of wear but overall is in good condition for its usage. The pediment at top is removable.
