Design Plus Gallery presents a Pair of the Aquitaine Sconces by Jonathan Browning for Restoration Hardware. Inspired by French minimalist lighting of the 1960s, the Aquitaine design pairs a sculptural solid brass form with a slender black cord and a circular wall plate. Each elongated tapered element is presented in Lacquered Burnished Brass and terminates in a faceted crystal accent that surrounds the inset LED light source. The combination of metal, textile-covered cord, and crystal gives the sconces a distinctive architectural presence while remaining faithful to Jonathan Browning’s modern interpretation of mid-century European lighting. They are in good condition with visible and minimal wear from usage.
