Design Plus Gallery presents a Louis XV Style Corner Fauteuil. The chair has all the classical elements of neoclassicism. This corner chair offers graceful curves, asymmetrical designs, with natural Rococo motifs created during the 18th-century French reign of King Louis XV. Follow the curved barrel back with natural cane-webbing and a round, upholstered seat cushion. There is an ornate carved wood frame with a distressed finish that also offers touches of gilt detailing. The caned seat is supported by cabriolet legs. Overall, the chair shows signs of wear that are consistent with its vintage usage and is considered to be in good condition.
