Design Plus Gallery presents a Pair of French Provincial Louis XV Style Armchairs from Jacara’s. Each painted wood frame displays a scalloped crest, carved shell ornamentation, scrolling arms, cabriole legs and shaped apron details. The seats and tall padded backs are upholstered in a gray and ivory striped woven textile accented by coordinating cord trim. An underside tag indicates that the chairs were by Jacara’s Manufacturing Company. The painted frames display intentional distressing, surface marks and areas of paint loss. They are in good condition; visible and minimal wear from usage. The fabric has visible stains and would benefit from professional cleaning.
