Design Plus Gallery presents The Paravento Balla from Cassina. Originally designed by Giacomo Balla in 1916. Cassina revives Giacomo Balla’s visionary Futurist spirit as a striking, sculptural room divider. Based on the artist’s original tempera and pencil sketch, this designer privacy screen features a crisp white background animated by a vibrant green and blue motif, capturing the dynamism and color play central to Balla’s work. Its bold artistic presence brings energy and individuality to any space, whether used to define zones or as a freestanding artwork. Crafted from three wood panels of varying heights and widths, the screen is joined by satin brass hinges that allow fluid, customizable positioning. The refined hardware complements the graphic composition, while the asymmetry of the panels creates a lively rhythm and depth. Functional, flexible, and undeniably expressive, The Paravento Balla is a modern reissue that honors its avant‑garde origins with contemporary elegance. Was a Showroom Sample, in good condition, visible and minimal wear. Made in Italy.
