Design Plus Gallery presents Fredrick Cooper’s Vintage Bird’s Nest Table Lamp. Cooper’s artistry began in Chicago in 1923 where he began mixing media of brass, fabric, glass and wood. Within that media he was able to create exquisitely designed lamps that matched the swift innovations in architecture and have proved to last the test of time. Today, Fredrick Cooper stands for superlative design and craftsmanship. This lamp has a gilded bird in flight and an intricate bird’s nest nestled into the branches of a tree. The tree is unique with rough rustic bark, large expansive roots, graceful branches and leaves and a delicate birds nest. There is a custom made shade of birds flying foliage to accentuate the design. In good vintage condition with wear that is consistent with age + use.
