Cabriole legs curve into the decorative trim and apron with shell motifs and gold accenting. Oiled brass nail head picks up the gold gilt between the chestnut stained wood and rich leather. The traditional French Provincial style has been further updated with a fresh and warm tipped leather. Leather is patched into a central rectangular shape on the back and continues with a square center on the seat. Little evidence of wear, good condition.
