Design Plus Gallery presents a Red Lacquer Armoire of Chinese Influence. The tall armoire has the design of a wedding armoire that was given as a home warming in Chinese culture. The solid wood armoire has a lacquered coat of china red with antiqued brass hardware. The double door open to reveal an open cavity that displays the natural rosewood color. There are two open cavity spaces separated by two concealed inner drawers. There are also two drawers at its base and the piece rests on a straight, integrated design common in Chinese style furniture. It is in good condition for its vintage age with minimal signs of wear.
