Design Plus Gallery presents a Vitrine Cabinet in the George III Style from Burton Ching. The cabinet is made of fruitwood and is surmounted by central gilt pagoda over two glazed door divided by swag mullions. A divine cabinet of the European interpretation and imitation of East Asian artistic and decorative styles, heavily applied to English furniture and clocks during the reign of King George III. This aesthetic is characterized by hand-painted gold or polychrome motifs—such as pagodas, figures, birds, and landscapes background of black found on the diagonal sides and front of the cabinet. It is in good overall condition with minimal signs of wear for its usage. Made in the USA.
