Design Plus Gallery presents a Vintage 7ft 10in x 10ft 5in Persian Area Rug from the small Kurdish town in Western Persia, Bidjar. These rugs are hand-woven and are known for their durability, vibrant colors, and intricate designs. The pile of these carpets is tightly pressed together with a comb when knotting. In this way, dirt particles can hardly penetrate. Per the standard this rug features the medallion in the middle and are decorated with the so-called Herati pattern. Multiple color are found within the highly detailed design. The rug has some breaking at the edges and on the fringe, overall in good condition for their age + use.
