Design Plus Gallery presents a 7ft 6in x 11ft Fringes Area Rug from Baxter. This is a custom made area rug from the Fringes collection that is made from 100% cotton and flat woven with alternating depths for a dynamically unique design presence. Baxter’s exquisite rug is named after the interwoven side fringes that characterise its design. The distinctive feature of Fringes, however, lies in the manual technique with which the mantle is spun and finished: a long and painstaking process, which is carried out with the use of plant-based fabrics that make up the surface and the fringes are knotted by hand using wooden frames, creating textures rich in detail. The rug is in good condition, minimal wear from usage. Made in India.
