Design Plus Gallery presents an Warrior Couple Abstract Copper Repousse Diptych. Copper is hammered from the back to produce a low relief design reflecting traditional Aboriginal art found in Australia. The natural colors are red, gray, and solid black. Anangu art, from the Uluru National Park can be found inrock paintings, sand drawings. that were created for religious and ceremonial expression; teaching and storytelling. The back is reinforced with wood planks and has a hanging cord for mounting. Artist’s 1994 signature is on the bottom right. Minor wear from use; Diptych is in good. condition.
