Design Plus Gallery presents a Jacobean Revival Nightstand from Waring & Gillow of Lancaster. This small bedside cabinet in oak wood likely dates to the 19th century in England. It is of figured oak wood with a good color and patina. There is a hand carved paneled door that opens to reveal an empty cavity space for storage and opens by a fancy bras escutcheon plate with faux keyhole. The cabinet stands on shaped legs that have stretcher joining in their center for stability. Brand plate is present and the cabinet is in fair condition for its antique age.
