Design Plus Gallery presents a Vladimir Kagan for Preview Furniture Bilbao Sofa. Post modern whimsy and movement are center stage with the sculptural signature Kagan form. High density foam is firmly layered with spring construction and a supportive high back. Contrasting upholstery is anchored with a bronze ribbed chenille and playful Miro inspired pattern on top. The design for the Bilbao was influenced by the undulations and curvature of the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao Spain. Sofa shows wear and has a small tear. Sofa is in good condition. Custom made in the 90’s.
