Design Plus Gallery presents a Qing Dynasty Style Carved Rosewood with Marble Back Rest Settee. The sofa is ornately detailed and designed to leave an impression. It offers a solid rosewood frame that is entirely hand-carved with repeating dragon motifs along the crest, arms, and apron then resting on powerful dragon claw in ball feet. The back seat rest has three inset white marbled panels with dark plus light gray veins that harken a misty landscape, adding a serene counterpoint to the dramatic carving. There is a removable red seat cushion, patterned with gold medallions, to bring its regalness to light regal note of color and comfort, and the piece is accompanied by four coordinating red square pillows with golden elements. In good condition, visible and minimal wear.
