Vintage McGuire Organic Modern Rattan Raffia Lounge Chairs, Pair

Design Plus Gallery presents a Pair of Lounge Chairs from the Late 20th Century McGuire Brand. The chairs are made in the California coastal organic modern style McGuire capitalized on in the Late 20th Century that is still relevant today. The chairs feature thick pole rattan frames with double walled sides and back of caning. The gracefully curved horseshoe shaped back is conjoined to a generous deep seat with newly upholstered seat cushion in an Irish linen style fabric. Solid + sturdy with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The exposed joints are reinforced with leather rawhide laces. Brand plate of brass in on both the chairs. They show signs of visible wear, small breakage in inner caning. Visible wear to the frame and a bit on the upholstery but are considered to be in good condition for their vintage age + use.
