Vintage Korean Tansu Chest of Drawers

Design Plus Gallery presents a Vintage Korean Tansu with Original Hardware. The cabinet dates back to the early to mid 1900s. The surface has a raised lip and the top along with the sides and other frame work have a deeper tone of wood. The drawers and cupboards that are front facing are in a burl wood with a rich caramel tone. There are three top drawers, a center cabinet door area that opens to an inner cavity space. The lower cupboard door opens downward for lower cabinet storage space. There is Korean scripted rice paper inside both cupboard areas. Locking pin keys + brass hardware are all original. The tansu is splendid and in good condition for its decades old age.
