Design Plus Gallery presents a Vintage Eames Aluminum Group Management Chair by Herman Miller, circa 1955. The Aluminum Group Collection was created in 1958 to explore lightweight but durable ounge furniture that could exist in spaces both indoors and out. A low back that fits well in all kinds of work or modern dining settings. Each chair has graceful lines that are comfortable by construction with 360 swivel and locking tilt. The vintage chairs, with four casters, instead of the newer five, have been reupholstered in black mesh. Light surface wear on metal frame; condition is good for vintage age and use.
