Design Plus Gallery presents a Set of 3 Vintage Chinese Prints. The framed prints are of Mogao Cave Paintings. The caves were constructed in 366 AD and represents the great achievement of Buddhist art from the 4th to the 14th century. Most of the murals inside the cave are original works from the early Tang Dynasty and are paintings of Buddhist historic sites and holy events. Matted and framed. Visible sun damage; condition is consistent with age and use.
