Vintage Byōbu ~ Japanese Folding Screen

Design Plus Gallery presents a Vintage Byōbu – Japanese Folding Screen. The screen has 4 equal size panels that fold upon each other to be seamlessly stored away when not in use. However these make great decorative pieces and can be hung effortlessly on a wall with the brass symbolic hooks on the two outer panels. In addition to be being delicately artistic the screens do offer privacy for dressing or to separate rooms with a scenic landscape. This Byōbu has calligraphy, Cypress trees by the seaside, and a padoga nestled in the mountain ranges. The screen is in good condition, wear consistent with age + use.
