Heavily cast as a standing Buddhist Lion, its forehead with “Wang” characters above the bulging eyes, the tail and mane finely incised, the right paw resting on a brocade ball, metal patinated to a rich, black hue on a hongmu stand. In good condition for its antique age + use. Natual patina on frame.
