Design Plus Gallery presents an Victorian Secretary. Incredible antique presence, embellished with period details including dentil crown, burled walnut panels, hand carving and turned pulls. In the center is a lovely, incredibly functional drop front workspace, presenting multiple cubbies lined with Birdseye maple veneers and inset with leather (not original). Above the desk are glass fronted adjustable shelves, below are more covered divided storage spaces. On either side of the center, but attached, are locking glass fronted doors and adjustable shelving. The piece is shallow for the amount of storage and productivity it provides. Light evidence of surface wear, nicks. Consistent with age and use.
