Design Plus Gallery presents a Wash Stand of Satin Wood + Marble from the Victorian Era. The wash stand were of great use in the late 19th century prior to indoor plumbing. A pitcher and a basin were used to hold a basin and pitcher. Three quarter marble galley wall to prevent spillage. Two lower half width drawers for holding items needed for wash. The stand is on casters for mobility. Is in good condition with visible wear that is consistent with its antique age + use.
