Design Plus Gallery presents a Circa 1880’s Victorian Ebonized Stationary Rocker. This antique chair pairs a fixed platform base with a rocking seat mechanism, allowing motion while the base remains in place. The frame has turned spindle posts, carved supports, rounded arm rails, and a padded upper crest rail. Black leather upholstery covers the seat and back, showing age-appropriate patina, creasing, scuffs, and tonal variation. The ebonized wood frame shows rubs, nicks, and exposed undertones that reflect its long history. It is in good condition; visible and minimal wear from usage.
