The vertical frame supports a large drive wheel, flyer-and-bobbin assembly, adjustable tension screw, and tall cage-form distaff. Turned posts, rounded details, wooden spindles, and a foot-operated treadle complete the traditional mechanical construction. The aged wood displays varied tones and patina throughout. It is in fair vintage condition; visible wear, surface marks, and age-related patina from usage. In good condition, visible and minimal wear from usage.
