Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine Pot
$199
Design Plus Gallery presents a Vintage Chinese Brown Glazed Stoneware Herbal Medicine Pot. This traditional ceramic vessel has a rounded body with a deep reddish-brown glaze and a coordinating lid topped with a circular knob. The upper portion displays horizontal ribbed detailing, while the sides include a short pouring spout and an extended decorative handle with sculptural accents. A metal wire support surrounds the exterior of the pot. Traditionally associated with Chinese herbal medicine preparation, this style of pottery was designed for simmering medicinal herbs. It is in good vintage condition with visible and minimal wear from age and usage.
