Design Plus Gallery presents a Toma African Mask. The mask is of bakrogui type, topped with horns and is presented without eyes and in a modest version. The Toma of Guinea, called Loma in Liberia, live in the heart of the forest. They are renowned for their mask-boards intended to animate the initiation rites of the poor association which structures their society, and which represent spirits of the bush. Is in good condition for its usage. Is in good condition with wear from usage.
