Design Plus Gallery presents a Set of Four Azul Globus Chairs by Stua for Design Within Reach. Globus is a light, contemporary chair design. The chair’s personality is given by the shape of the backrest, which reproduces the silhouette of a balloon. The backrest and seat of these Globus Chairs, designed by Jesus Gasca in 1994, are made from plastic, with a gently curved back for firm support and a waterfall seat edge for comfort. The elliptical opening in the backrest of Globus allows for ventilation, reduces back pressure, and serves as a handle for easy maneuvering. These chairs are able to stack, live outside, and are commercial quality. The color Azul is no longer in production with the brand, and they have a brand sticker on each base for authentication. All are in good condition with minimal signs of visible wear for their usage. Made in Spain.
