Design Plus Gallery presents a 42-piece set of Nagel Candleholders, designed by Werner Stoff for STOFF Copenhagen. Originally designed in the 1960’s by Stoff for metalworker Hans Nagel. The candleholder was inspired by a ski vacation in the Alps by Nagel, when he tumbled in snow and left three finger-holes in the snow. The triangular pieces display an abundance of concave curves. They are also modular; each corner connects to a sphere with a top opening and bottom metal rod of matching sizes. The spheres can hold taper candles or rods of other pieces. The round pieces can hold pillar candles. Minor wear from age and use; candleholders are in good. condition.
