Design Plus Gallery presents a Xie Writing Desk by Hellman Chang. Purchased from the Sloan Miyasato in the San Francisco Design Center. The highly sculptural legs are shaped from 4′ x 4′ pillars of solid wood with mortis-and-tenon joinery. The multi-faceted parts require a comprehensive glue-up with custom clamping cauls. A concealed pencil drawer is made from a solid-maple drawer box with dovetail joinery and undermount self/soft-closing drawer slides. Finish is in a Grey Oak Matte Minor hairline scratch, minor wear. Desk in good condition
