Design Plus Gallery presents a Framed in Black with White Matte Travel Poster from the 1950’s and Illustrated by Jan Davies. Scheveningen is one of the eight districts of The Hague, Netherlands, as well as a subdistrict of that city. Scheveningen is a modern seaside resort with a long, sandy beach, an esplanade, a pier, and a lighthouse. The beach is popular for water sports such as windsurfing and kiteboarding. The poster is bright + playful; two tan, long male legs in a V-shape over the pier + waves in the background with the “Scheveningen” centered beneath, “Holland” centered below. Is in good condition for its usage with minor surface wear.
