Matted and framed. “Paulson Fontaine Press is a printmaking studio, gallery, and publisher of contemporary fine art prints in Berkeley, California. Many of their publications are etchings. More than half of their published editions have been produced with minority or female artists.”Little evidence of wear; good condition.

“Salomón Huerta, who was born in Tijuana and raised in Boyle Heights, makes paintings that explore issues of identity. He paints collections of finely detailed portraits of the backs of heads and unassuming suburban homes stripped of individuality. The paintings are fraught with tension and provoke the viewer to examine issues of race and profiling. His work depicting lower-middle class homes are social, as well as aesthetic, commentaries on the upper-class concepts of beauty and its relation to class and social standing. His work is included in the permanent collections of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, CA and the Museum of Contemporary Art, San Diego, CA among others. “
