S. Eylander “Alva” Figurative Bronze Sculpture

Design Plus Gallery presents an “Alva” Figurative Ceramic Sculpture by S. Eylander, dated 1993. Inspired by the expressive sculptural style of Auguste Rodin, the artwork depicts a seated figure with flowing hair, bent knees, and arms supporting a textured geometric form against the shoulder. The composition emphasizes anatomical contours, expressive posture, and sculptural drapery. A bronze-tone surface treatment gives the ceramic form the appearance of cast bronze. The sculpture rests on a circular black base and bears an inscribed signature, title, copyright marking, and date of 1993. It is in good condition with visible and minimal wear from usage, including minor scuffs and surface wear to the base.
