Design Plus Gallery presents a Rowan, Evans & Sons Converted Kerosene Lamp. This lamp is a piece of late 19th or early 20th-century history that has been updated for modern utility. During the Victorian and Edwardian eras, dozens of regional ironmongers, glassmakers, and brass founders manufactured distinct household lamps before electricity became standard. This new lamp has been wired for a bulb and has a modern-day robin’s egg blue shade. It is in good condition for its antique age.
