Blackcreek Mercantile & Trading Company Japanese Style With Dark Stain Coffee Table. Original Price: $11,800

Design Plus Gallery presents a Low Profile Coffee Table in Japanese Styling from Blackcreek Mercantile & Trading Company. This incredibly dark, smooth and modern coffee table seems to be just floating above the ground through the use of four deep recessed steel poles set into the base. The construction from the underside shows the craftsmanship involved with producing such a harmonious silhouette that is seemingly simple but with a trained eye, provocatively challenging. It is in good condition with little surface wear for its usage.

About the Brand :
“After years working in the furniture and interiors industry Joshua Vogel created Blackcreek Mercantile & Trading Co. (BCMT) as a way to explore small scale product design and manufacturing, and to reconnect himself with the practice and idea of crafting handmade goods. All of BCMT’s products are made by people right here in our Kingston, New York studio…lovingly, and with care. We strive daily to get closer in understanding to the elements of our craft, not further removed. We seek to connect good ideas with great materials through simple processes that, in turn, connect our customers directly to the essence of the work. After taking an eight year hiatus from furniture, Joshua launched a collection of pieces under BCMT utilizing this same ideology. We believe that through an open sharing of skills and encouraging our employees to both learn and create, we can grow together through the pursuit of excellence. The goal of our work is to create enduring, beautiful, and functional objects that you will love to use as much as we love to make . . . from our hands to yours”.
