Rococo Revival Marie Antoinette Over the Door Wall Panel
SOLD!
Design Plus Gallery presents a Marie Antoinette Over-The-Door Wall Sculpture. This decorative wood paneling, inspired by the opulent Rococo or Neoclassical styles of the late 18th century, features molded elements reminiscent of the design found in her private chambers at the Palace of Versailles. It boasts shades of cerulean with off-white accents, and gilt gold elements, including a signature M in cursive in the center arch. The panel is in fair antique condition, though its provenance remains unknown.
