Design Plus Gallery presents a Burton Ching Arm Chair with Custom Upholstery by Roberto Barahona. The chair is in the George II Style, with a classic wingback design. The wood is artfully mastered with an acanthus leaf at the lowest part of each arm carved into the wood with a rounded hand hold at the top. The base has carbriole legs with upper shell carvings, reed shaped stretchers between each. The fine details are second fiddle to the finely sourced silk embroidered upholstery of flowers, birds and crests on a celery green silk jacquard. The chairs Is in good condition for its age with minimal surface wear that is consistent with use.
